In-depth Learning
With us, you can learn about Schema Therapy and figure out if it’s a good match for your professional development by attending workshops before committing to a whole Certification programme.
Whilst there are shorter certification courses, on our programme you will experience a deeper level of learning and develop more skills relating to a greater range of presentations. You’ll feel more confident in your practice and save on expensive supervision hours.
Expert Trainers
You will be trained by Gill and Tara, who had the privilege of being trained themselves by Jeffrey Young and supervised by world experts. Drawing on their extensive experience, they are now at the forefront of developing Schema Therapy resources, including the Schema Therapy Toolkit, Schema Therapy, a chapter in the The Handbook of Adult Clinical Psychology - An Evidence Based Practice Approach (2016, Carr & McNulty) and Creative Methods in Schema Therapy (2020), which Gill co-edited and to which they both contributed.
Trainee-Supervisor Matching
Schema Therapy Associates’ supervisors are hand-picked by Tara and Gill for their expertise, personal qualities and coaching skills as well as being ISST-Certified Supervisors. They work in a range of contexts and specialisms, so - once you’re on our programme - your particular supervision needs can be matched with someone who can meet them.
